Notes/Purpose
1. Undergraduate Art History Association- Requested $558.25 for lodging for
4 nights to attend the College Arts Association Annual Conference on Feb. 812th. Committee fully funded. Vote: 6Y- 2A
2. National Society for Minorities in Hospitality- Came and requested
$7,266.00 originally. Forms were filled out wrong and the true request was
$2,101.40. After correcting the travel quote to include the driver fee and
underage fee, the committee funded $1091.00 for 3 Avis vans for 4 days plus
fees. Vote: 5Y- 2N- 1A
3. Young Americans for Liberty- Requested $1,322.40 for 6 plane tickets to
attend the Students for Liberty International Conference on Feb. 18-20th. The
organization had a great presentation and had already funded a few trips
themselves this year, so the committee decided to fully fund. Vote: 6Y- 2N.
4. FSU Weightlifting Club- Originally requested $1096.00 but then corrected
the request to add transportation. Since the committee did not have the exact
number from Avis or any quotes, they decided to fund at the original request
of $1096.00. Vote: 5Y- 3N- 0A
5. Tallahassee Sustainability Group- Tabled. The organization requested
$2,780.00, but due to the lack of documentation and the time still allotted
before the conference, the committee decided to table them to give them a
chance to re-request. Vote: 7Y- 0N-0A
6. Campaign for Liberty- Requested $1,164.00 for travel and lodging to attend
The Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington on Feb. 9-13th.
The committee funded the lodging for $753.00. Vote: 6Y- 1N-1A
