BIO SUMMARY
Dr. Mahr-un-Nisa has more than a decade teaching and research experience in the field of Animal
Nutrition. She is the first women dairy nutritionist in Pakistan. She has supervised 03 PhD and 14 Msc
students as major supervisor. She has published more than one hundred and fifty national and
international research articles out of which sixty seven research articles are in impact factor
international Journal. She has visited many countries and presented her work there.
She has been a regular recipient of Research Productivity Award awarded by Pakistan Council for
Science &Technology, Islamabad, for the last many years. Based upon her teaching and research
excellence, she was also awarded Better Incentives by University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. She was
decorated with star laureate award by South Asian Publication, Karachi in 2002. She was also
decorated with Presidential award “Izaz-i-Fazeelat” in 2007. She was the very first lecturer approved
by the Higher Education Commission as Ph.D. Supervisor.
She has completed seven research projects sponsored by different public and private organizations.
Currently she is principal investigator of three research projects.
She also takes parts in social activities. For example, she has established exemplary Day Care Center in
the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. She is also the president of scout rangers, University of
Agriculture, Faisalabad.
