Integrity is defined as having sound moral character in values and actions. In the play,
“Death of a Salesman,” Biff has come to hate his father Willy. What values and actions does
Willy Loman demonstrate during the play to cause his son to feel this way about him? What lessons
could you take from this story that would help you lead a life of integrity?
This paper should be two paragraphs long: In the first paragraph, discuss Willy’s integrity; and in
the second paragraph, discuss the lessons you learned from the play.
Be sure you have a title, and your paper is double-spaced. You may use the drop box on FAWeb
prior to Wednesday, or turn in a paper copy on Wednesday in class. Late papers will lose points
equivalent to one letter grade, and will not be accepted after Friday.
