General Rule: Cite the author (if available) and the original source information, followed by
the database where the article, essay, chart etc. has been reproduced.
Viewpoint Essays
“Viewpoint Essays” are usually from Greenhaven Press print publications located in San Diego,
CA. In most cases the page numbers of the essay are not given (use n.p. for no page.) Cite the
Greenhaven publication information, followed by the name of the database.
