Information and Procedures for Applying
Sunshine & Rainbows ELC offers an annual scholarship to high school seniors who graduated
from a Rainbow Days four’s or five’s class (2002). This year’s scholarship is for $500.00.

 Fill out completely
 This is the only page that will have your name listed. All other pages will have your code
number that we will assign to your papers when you turn them into our office.
Interests and Activities Form
 Please give us a complete picture of the person you are.
 Include school activities, community activities, and church activities.
 Please do not give your name or the name of your church.
Essay
 Write a 250 to 300-word essay on the topic: “In ten years I see myself…” –what are your
dreams
 Write a 150 word (more or less) statement on how you have felt the presence of God in
your life.

OTHER THAN ON THE COVER SHEET.
Criteria for judging:




Interests and Activities: 30%
Expression on the assigned essay topic: 30%
Clarity of thought on the assigned essay topic: 30%
Grammar and Spelling: 10%
Announcement of recipient will be at the St. Jude’s Senior Banquet in May.
