After researching the people and events, you will produce a travel brochure which will recommend places
for a foreign visitor to go to learn about the Civil Rights movement. You will include the events below in
your brochure. The brochure must include a brief description of the importance of the event or person to
the Civil Rights movement. The brochure should reflect the diversity of the Civil Rights movement. You
may complete the attached worksheet as a way to gather data for your brochure. You can than cut and
paste it into your brochure and add the images. You may also just go to the brochure directly. How you
complete this project is up to your individual strengths and skills. I will be looking for a map of your
journey, at least 6 graphics, and travel brochure like vocabulary and style. Content must be accurate and
correct spelling and grammar used.
Make sure that you include everything (on the worksheet if you are using it) and the brochure and that you
save your work, in your student folder.
