I work as a Senior Consultant with Third Sector Partners, a boutique search firm for
the social sector.
Third Sector Partners has been retained by a large and reputed international
organization working on issues related to water, sanitation and hygiene, to recruit a
Program Director for its India program. The charity’s mission is to ensure provision
of safe and effective water and sanitation for poor and marginalized communities.
In India the organization works with local partners towards meeting the mission and
vision of its international parent organization. The India program works in both rural
and urban areas.
We are looking for individuals with•
At least 12 years of experience, with considerable years of senior management
experience within a leading International/National development organisation or any
other organisation with similar opportunity and challenge.
•
Significant experience in managing multi location teams, national and regional
programmes/projects, donor reporting, managing information and data.
•
Proficiency in developing multi year project proposals, budgeting and control,
and managing multi donor contracts. Log Frames, M&E and MIS knowledge is
essential.
•
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in developing networks of
stakeholders.
•
Analytical skills, understanding of advocacy and research work and ability to
contribute to strategic organisational development.
•
Hands on experience of working on development projects and preferably on
integrated water, sanitation and hygiene or water resource management
programmes/projects.
Preferable:
•
Experience of working with Government and in urban development projects.
The position is based in New Delhi.
