Novel Booklet
Each component of this booklet counts 20 points. Ms. Snyder will give you a file folder
to create the booklet. Class example available.
1. Cover Design: Make a book jacket to replace the one currently used for the
book.
2. Characterization Organizer: Make a character chart describing relationships
and character traits.
3. Episodic Notes: Draw/explain the ten most crucial stages, scenes, or moments in
the book. (In your opinion!)
4. About the Author: Research and write a biographical sketch about the author,
including speculation of how his/her personal life impacted the book.
5. Comparison Essay: Compare/contrast this book to some other work of literature
read or movie seen.
