Dear Parents,
Thank you for your help in improving your child’s speech and language abilities. I appreciate the fact that you complete the homework with them weekly. I would like to get more feedback on how your child does with his/her homework. So I have designed feedback labels that I will be putting on your child’s homework sheets from now on.
Here is a sample:
Homework Helper Feedback
______My child needed little/no help.
______My child needed some help.
______My child needed a lot of help.

As you can see, there are three options for you to check. You would check the first “My child needed little/no help” if your child is able to complete the activity independently with only a little help from you. Check the second “My child needed some help” when your child needs a moderate amount of help from you. You would check the last option
“My child needed a lot of help” when your child has a lot of difficulty with the activity and needs a great deal of help. Lastly, please sign on the line at the bottom. Let me know if you have any questions.
