Incoming 7th Grade Summer Reading List

Summer 2015
Directions:
At least 2 books must be read by all incoming 7th grade students. Students must complete 2 reports
(see attached), which will be collected and graded in September. These reports will count as homework
assignments. All students who complete 2 satisfactory reports will be able to participate in a dress down
day that includes some outdoor recess time.
Also, students have the opportunity to complete 1 project for extra credit. Projects will be graded
by your Language Arts teacher. Based on how well you complete your project, you will earn 10 points, 15
points, or 20 points that can be added to 1 Language Arts test grade in the first marking period.
