Application Directions
Use this Application for Admission to apply to the KSU Robert Noyce Scholarship Program
if you are:
o Academic performance in the major: overall GPA of 2.75 and 3.00 in the major;
o A written essay showing an interest in teaching mathematics and/or science to
middle or high school students;
o Personal interview;
o Two letters of recommendation, one of which must come from a science,
technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) faculty who can comment on
the student’s academic achievement;
o Commitment to four years of teaching in a high needs middle or high school, for
the three years of support as a Noyce scholar;
o A U S citizen or permanent resident;
o Ability to graduate within one academic year including the summer.
