California Missions Project
We are about to embark on a journey back to the
1700's to learn all about the California Missions.
For this project, we will be creating a class
informational website on California Missions.
After an investigation of missions, you will
discover and explain how the mission system
spread the influence of Spain and changed
California. You will also explain how the mission
system affected the lives of the Native Californians.
Your job is to use the web and other resources to research your assigned
topics. In addition to your research write ups, you will also have to looks for
pictures on the web and/or draw your original pictures.
For this project, you will use our class wiki space to write and edit your
research topics.

clearly explain their background story, feelings, and viewpoint of the
mission life.
