Psychology Enrichment Worksheet: By now we have gone through
many of the mood, personality and psychological disorders that are
in Chapter 18 in your book. As we have gone through this chapter
we have learned many concepts and terms that you will need to
know for the upcoming test. Your job today is to take on the role
of Sybil’s Psychologist. Using terms that we have studied in this
chapter you need to identify/diagnosis what you believe Sybil is
experiencing as you watch the film over the next couple days. Be
sure to use the terms that we have talked about in class and provide
examples from the movie to back up your assumptions about her
and about some of the things she experiences. Be sure to use at
least five of the terms from the chapter and underline them in your
diagnosis. Finally, after you have watched the entire movie decide
whether Sybil’s underlining problems are due to biological or
psychological reasons. Provide reasoning for your decision. Use
the front page of this paper to jot down notes/examples as you see
them and use the entire back page of this paper (if you would like
to at least get a C) to record your observations of Sybil and
professional diagnosis.
