Reading Journal Requirements
 You must complete a one-page Double Entry Journal for each section of Night.
o A DEJ contains quotes from the text to which you make a:
 Text-text connection: relating the novel to a book, movie, TV
show, etc. you already know
 Text-self connection: relating the novel to yourself or someone you
know
 Text-world connection: relating the novel to a world event in the
news, past or present
o You should have TWO OF EACH per chapter.
