As we continue to explore the Spanish-speaking world as a class, you will research
a Spanish speaking country of your choice and write a mini-research paper. Then, you will teach the class the
significant information you learned during your investigation.
The Report (el Reportaje)
You will write a 2 page research paper about your Spanish-speaking country of choice. Your paper
specifications are:

2 pages, typed double spaced
size 12 font
Times New Roman
1 inch margins
with a separate bibliography
Spanish speakers you will write ALL in Spanish!

Geography (What kinds of landscapes does the country have? Mountains, etc?)
Tourism (Where do tourists go and what do they go to see?)
 C.) You must then choose 1 of the following topics to research:

Famous person, artist, writer, musician, athlete
Famous dance, sports, or literature
Holiday or customs
Fashion
Current events
 D.) You must include your conclusions / opinions about the country you researched.
 You must include a bibliography page, stating where you found your information.

Class Presentations
Finally, you must present your research paper to the class. You must teach the class a 5 minute lesson on
your assigned country. You must prepare an interesting lesson for your class members and involve them
in your lesson (you WILL be the teacher). Be sure to include visuals: powerpoint, prezi, videos, pictures,
etc. Be creative!
