Deviant Subculture Poster Project
You may work alone or with a partner.
Your topic must be considered a deviant subculture. A deviant
subculture may be considered "deviant" because it is involved in
behavior that threatens the mainstream population or because it is
labeled as deviant by the mainstream population
Please include the following information on your poster
A large title that can be read from a distance.

 What is the demographic of the culture: ethnicity, age, sex,
country…?
 What rituals or ceremonies are common?
 What are the typical behaviors of the members?

 What is the language / vocabulary? – include some terms
 How do you join…or leave the subculture? Can you leave it?
 How viewed by mainstream public?
 Dangers and downsides of the subculture?
 Where did the subculture come from…where is it heading?
