• EMMY Award: Best Musical Score for Independent Production (original music for
"Generation on the Wind," Academy Award nominated Best Feature
Documentary).

SPECIAL SKILLS
COMPOSITION: Composed music in many styles for over seventy films (with Warren
Beatty, Leslie Nielsen etc.), television shows (including TNT, HBO, PBS, and
worldwide TV, with Michael J. Fox, Robert Wagner, Darren McGavin, etc.),
commercials, theater and dance productions.
RECORDING: Have own digital multi track MIDI recording studio with MAC G4
computer.
COMPUTER: Expert with MIDI (Multi Instrument Digital Interface)--using synthesizers
and computers, teach students to sequence, record and printout music; also use
this technology to create special musical arrangements for school bands (with
accompanying demo tapes).
JAZZ PERFORMANCE ,THEORY, IMPROVISATION:
Recorded three nationally acclaimed jazz CDs on the Optimism label; have
opened for Wynton Marsalis, Dizzy Gillespie, Betty Carter, Ahmad Jamal.
Have written special educational materials to use with students of all grades.
