Service Fee for $1485 incl GST

1.
BOOKINGS: All bookings must be made directly with the stud by completing
and forwarding the attached booking form. A $100 non-refundable deposit is
applicable and payment must accompany the booking form. Service fees
must be paid in full upon delivery of the mare to the stud. No mare will be
inseminated until the full fee is paid.
2.
MARES: All mares must be tractable and handled to be led. The proprietors of
the stud reserve the right to refuse any mare for service at any time.
3.
AGISTMENT:
a) A fee of $14.00 (incl GST) per day will be charged for dry mares booked
b) A fee of $18.00 (incl GST) per day will be charged for mares with foals at
foot
c) All agistment must e paid before mares my be removed from the stud
4.
MARE TRANSPORT: Owners are responsible for all transport arrangements
and costs. At least 48 hours of notice of delivery and collection is required.
5.
VETERINARY CARE:
a) All veterinary expenses will be charged to the mare’s owner. All mares will
undergo a pre-breeding veterinary examination and will be isolated for 24
hours on arrival at the stud. If for any reason a major expense s to be
incurred, the owner will be notified before any procedure is acted upon.
Routine veterinary treatment will carry no notification.
b) If a mare is found to be a difficult or unlikely breeder, the owner will be
notified and a different mare may be served provided the original mare is
removed from the stud within fourteen days. It is recommended that all
mares be left at the stud until a positive pregnancy test is made at 16 days
the charge for this being the owner’s expense.
6.
LIVEFOAL GUARANTEE
A free return service will be given to mares, which are tested empty at the end
of the season. The original or a substitute mare may be used. For mares
tested pregnant at 42 days,, a free return will only be given if the owner notifies
the stud immediately the mare is found to be empty or if the resultant foal does
not survive the first 28 days. A Veterinary Certificate must be forwarded to the
stud to verify the same. The free return must be taken up within the next two
seasons. All veterinary and agistment expenses will be the mare owner’s
responsibility. A $100 stallion handling fee is applied to all free returns.
7.
LIABILITY
All reasonable care will be taken but no responsibility will be taken for any
illness or injury to horses while they are in the care of the Stud.
8.
ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION
All mares sent to the Stud will be served by artificial insemination for which
there will be a veterinary fee charged directly to the mare owner by the
veterinary practice.
9.
SERVICE CERTIFICATES
When your mare is tested in foal at 42 days, a certificate is required from your
Vet. On receiving the certificate we will then send a service certificate to you,
which enables the foal to be registered with the A.W.H.A.
