Type Details: Biomax has developed a series of bioinformatics tools for daily work
with sequences (Pedant-Pro suite) and data management and retrieval (BioRS
system). Most recently Biomax developed the BioXM Knowledge Management
Environment, an integrated system for high-throughput knowledge data
management, semantic integration and modeling of scientific relationships and
processes.
In addition to proven expertise in developing customized software systems, we
provide biological content and offer more than 400 annotated genome databases,
including human and mouse genomes.
We are also engaged in analyzing natural language (linguistics) and data mining to
extract relevant information from literature resources (BioLT Literature Mining Tool).
Ongoing research and development in the areas of metabolic pathway analysis, gene
expression and proteomics are key areas of focus at Biomax.
