2015 GED TESTING SCHEDULE

ON-LINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

PRE-REGISTRATION – Registration is done on line at GED.COM.
All registration and payment is done on-line at the GED.com website. You will
be required to create an account that will assist you with scheduling and
making payments. You may register to take the entire test or individual
sections of the test
WHO CAN BE TESTED –
Anyone 18 years of age or older. Two forms of identification required.
(One of them must be an OFFICIAL government issued ID with a picture!)
Photo MUST be clear and writing must be legible.
Anyone who has not received a high school diploma or GED diploma.
Persons who are 16 and 17 years old who provide the following documents:
1) Two forms of identification: One of them must be an official government
issued ID with date of birth and picture (high school ID is not acceptable)
2) A notarized letter of permission from a parent or legal guardian and
3) written verification of non-attendance from last public school attended.
(Married 16/17 year olds may show a copy of their marriage license in
place of parent’s written permission).
THE COST
$140 fee for the complete battery. You may pay for sections ($35 each) as
you schedule to take them.
$35 per retest: You may retake a subject twice without a waiting period,
then
you must wait 60 days before retesting on the same subject.
WHEN DO WE TEST?
We test every Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., except for
holidays.
SCORE REPORTING
After completing the 4 test sections, results will be available online by
accessing your GED.com account
We do not give out ANY information over the phone regarding test scores.
The Arizona Department of Education will mail diplomas within 2 weeks.
To pass the GED test, you must score a minimum of 150 on each test section.
If a single test score falls below 150, a retest will be needed.

SUBJECT AREAS (Tests may be taken in any order)
Mathematical Reasoning - 115 minutes
Reasoning through Language Arts – 150 minutes
Science - 90 minutes
Social Studies - 90 minutes
SPANISH TESTING: A Spanish version of the GED test is available.
GED SCHOLARSHIPS: A one semester scholarship will be offered to all
examinees that pass the GED exam at Central Arizona College.

Accommodations: Reasonable accommodations, including testing materials,
will be made for individuals with disabilities. When registering, please refer to
