Conduct high quality research in the field of Maternal Fetal Medicine.

BRIEF STATEMENT OF DUTIES
1.
Provide a clinical service in Maternal Fetal Medicine
2.
Undertake clinical and / or laboratory based research
3.
Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs
4.
Participation on hospital, state and national committees
5.
Contribute to the delivery of customer focused services
6.
As part of the KEMH Maternal Fetal Medicine team there is a requirement to be involved in
the after hours senior registrar roster.

SELECTION CRITERIA
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Medical degree registrable by the medical board of Western Australia.
2. Membership of RANZCOG – must be committed to completed the RANZCOG training program in
Maternal Fetal Medicine.
3. Familiarity and expertise in contemporary clinical practice.
4. Demonstrated commitment to clinical research.
5. Demonstrated ability in and commitment to clinical teaching.
6. Commitment to personal professional development.
7. Demonstrated ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team.
8. Ability to liaise, communicate and maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
9. Current knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in the areas of equal opportunity, disability
services and occupational safety & health, and how these impact on employment, people management
and service delivery.

1. Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine
2. Experience in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels

provided prior to commencement. This position is subject to a successful Criminal Record Screening Check
and a successful Pre- Placement Health Screening Clearance Check. This position is also subject to a
Working With Children (WWC) Check. This is a compulsory check for people who carry out child-related
work in Western Australia.
