Date of submission of tenders has been extended up to 30.01.2016 at 14.00 hrs.
General requirements for all equipment:
All vendors should quote only their high end equipment. Providing misinformation lead
to disqualification without stating any reasons.
All claims should be supported with authentic published documents. Laboratory manuals are not
acceptable. Published papers for claims should be submitted.
Documents pertaining to installation qualification (IQ), operational qualification (OQ) and
performance qualification (PQ) for analytical equipment qualification should be submitted.
All equipment should be quoted along with suitable branded equipment table/stand, dedicated for
the equipment concerned.
Amendments to the Tender No.
* GC-MS/MS
SL.NO. 1 Gas Chromatograph: Head space analyser of 100 vial capacity should be quoted as
optional.
MS/MS triple quadrupole system: Mass range: 10-1050 amu or better
Vacuum system: A robust high efficiency vacuum system with minimum maintenance and
utility with low noise level and system with high capacity oil free turbomolecular pump.
EI-MRM mode IDL: WITH 1 µL in column injection and 100 msec or less dwell
time, 30 m column; IDL of the machine for OFN at the same conditions should be ≤0.5
fg. XIC of IDL concentration should be provided.
Performance requirements:
1. Sensitivity of the equipment – EI-MRM transition 272-222 at unit resolution, 1 µL on
column injection and 100 msec or less dwell time, in 30 m column, the IDL at this condition
should be ≤ 0.5 fg. XIC at IDL concentration should be provided. The % RSD for five
sequential injections should not exceed <5%. Related details such as chromatogram, details
of GC and MS parameters, injection volume, date and time of analysis using GFR Part II
compliant software.
Documentary proofs on IDL pertaining to the quoted machine should be submitted with the
quote. The IDL claim should be demonstrable in the new machine. This is included in the
IQ OQ requirement of the machine.
2. Documentary evidence to be provided. Limit of quantification for δ-methrin,
quinalphosmalathion and chlorpyriphosin fish matrix with full details as above. Quantified
concentration in the provided spiked matrix should be reported. Analysis report should be
from the same machine quoted.
3. Analysis of pesticide residues using QuEChERs method. LOD for major pesticides in fish
matrix with full details as above. 50 numbers QuEChERS tube and cleanup kit should be
quoted for demonstration purpose.

1. Gas cylinders, minimum two nos. with necessary license and pressure gauge Calibrated
digital flow meter with certification from an accredited lab
Point No. 3.GC-MS/MS vials for autosampler: 5000 nos. Headspace vials 100 nos. and two
crimpers should be quoted as optional.
Point No. 7. Analytical standard for dioxins (7 congeners), furans (10 congeners), dioxin like
PCBs (12 congeners) should be quoted and purchase of the same for CIFT should be facilitated.
Pesticide multiresidue mix (at least 200 compounds) from Restek or equivalent should be
provided. The standards should be QC compliant and necessary certificates should be provided.
* SPECIFICATION FOR BENCH TOP QUADRUPOLE ICPMS COUPLED WITH

Simple and easy to use ICP MS for multi-elemental analysis with high-throughput capability;
