Tata Motors Holds ‘Skill Contest’ for Optimal Customer
Satisfaction in After-Sales Service
Bangkok – Tata Motors organized a ‘Skill Contest’ for technicians to show off their technical
skills in maintenance and spare parts repair. The competition was held with the objective
of bringing optimal customer satisfaction in after-sales service. The event was very well
received by dealers nationwide, who sent in their technicians to participate in the contest.
Tata Motors (Thailand) Ltd. held a ‘Skill Contest’ for technicians from Tata dealers nationwide,
who showed great interests in the event. In the preliminary round, 60 technicians participated
and were tested on their theoretical skills – 10 of whom were chosen for the practical skills
round. Khun Karanjit Rosha, Head of Sales and Marketing, along with several managers
of Tata Motors, gave the honors and witnessed the competitive finals.
Mr. Sanjay Mishra, CEO of Tata Motors Co. (Thailand) Ltd., stated “Tata Motors acknowledges
the importance of quality and quick after-sales service in creating customer satisfaction.
This has led us to organize this event as a means of developing the skills of technicians
who work in Tata centers all over the country. We strive to attain optimal customer satisfaction
through the skills and expertise of our technicians in repairing and maintaining Tata vehicles.
With this goal in mind, we intend to make this contest an annual event.”

The winner of the ‘Skill Contest’ was Khun Supachai Kongprasert of Anantapan Automobile
Co. Ltd. (Nakornratchasima); 2nd place winner was Khun Wutichai Chomyong of Ocean Wizard
Co. Ltd. (Samutsakorn); and 3rd place winner was Khun Kingkaew Jantawong of Triple S Auto
Co. Ltd. (Bangkok).
