National Bat Carers Workshop

In an exciting joint venture between Bat Care News and Bat Conservation Trust’s Welsh Bat Project, we
are delighted to announce the first ever National Bat Carer’s Workshop.
This all day workshop will include talks and practical sessions from vets, and experienced bat workers and
rehabilitators and will include
 Diagnosis and typical problems
 What is success in bat rehabilitation
 Baby bats – a special problem?
 Setting up a group of bat carers
 What is normal? – an aid to when spotting a bat is unwell
 Experts forum
This will also be a great opportunity to network and meet other bat carers, and find out what they do.
Costs – £35 to include lunch, teas and coffees.
Refunds - If we have to cancel the weekend then you will receive a full refund. If you have to cancel then
refunds will only be available if we are able to fill your booking and your refund will be subject to a 20%
administration charge.

make a weekend of it and see some of Wales’ spectacular scenery
