Application for payment for Supplementary Measure 3: (Rare Breeds)
Dear Sir or Madam:
You have applied for Supplementary Measure 3 (Rare Breeds). In order to process your payment
for 2013 you must complete the enclosed form and submit it to your local Department AES Office
together with the supporting documentation listed below. This form and documentation must be
returned to your Local AES Office before Friday 6th June 2014. Your payment for this Measure
and your 2014 REPS 4 payment, cannot be processed unless this document is submitted.
Documentation required
In all cases proof of membership of breed society (the exception to this Is the Irish Draught,
membership does not have to be proven here until further notice) Passports/certificates/birth
notification documents must be in the name of the applicant. Only original documents or copies
certified by a REPS planner are acceptable.
In addition
A) Bovines: a copy of pedigree certificate (or birth notification for males, letter from breed
society listing all eligible males that have been birth notified to the society is acceptable)
B) Equines: a copy of the complete passport for each eligible animal must be on file. A female
breeding animal over three years of age must foal before her 5th birthday to allow payment
to be made for that year.
Where the foal has been sold a certified copy of the foals original passport which shows the
dam (in the case of Connemara ponies a “Ponies to specification” letter stamped by the
CPBS will suffice instead of a passport)
