The City of Greeley Museums are here to help YOU bring history to life for your
students. Many experiences are matched to State Standards. Please don't be
shy about contacting us--at any time--for the following:
Field trips
in the spring and fall to Centennial Village and the Meeker Home Museum
all year 'round to the Greeley History Museum--opening in July, just in time for
school visits
Educational Festival Fun
Pumpkin Patch, October 19-22: students claim their own farm-grown pumpkin
and then paint or carve it then do a craft
Prairie Partners, November 17-18: students learn about the animals and
plants we share Northeastern Colorado with via interacting with artifacts, viewing
a diorama, and sharing a story and snack
Baby Animal Days in 2006, April 24-May 6: students learn about and interact
with visiting baby--and parent--farm animals
Lone Valley School Visits
truly travel back in time as you spend a couple of hours or a whole day teaching
your students in our one-room schoolhouse
