Dr. Naseer Ahmed completed his training in Radiation Oncology at McMaster University in
1996. He was a fellow with National Research Council Canada in 1998-1999. He has been a staff
radiation oncologist at Cancer Care Manitoba since 2000. His research is focused on lung cancer
screening and imaging in radiotherapy planning of lung cancer. He is the lead physician for small
animal irradiation program for translational research at Manitoba Institute of Cell Biology,
Winnipeg, Canada. Currently he is chair of the membership committee and member of the board
of directors of Canadian Association of Radiation Oncologists and represents Prairie Provinces.
