Junior Post-Doctoral Scientist with experience in Transgenic or
KO animals
The Endocrine Bone Research Laboratory at the Hanson Institute in Adelaide is seeking a
motivated individual with relevant research qualifications and experience to join a lively team
that focuses on the molecular, cellular and structural aspects of bone biology. We are looking a
recent PhD graduate with a good publication record in the areas of cell biology, molecular
biology or gene transcription. The appointment would be initially for one year with prospects for
continuation.
Experience in working with transgenic or knockout mice models is highly desirable.
The position available is to characterise newly created transgenic and KO mouse models which
are designed to investigate novel roles of vitamin D activity within the skeleton. Knowledge of
bone and cell biology will be an advantage.
