ADMISSION FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
Foreign citizens follow the same rules and regulations as Romanian
citizens.
Anyone can register for courses without taking an entrance examination.
APPLICATION PAPERS:
1. The standard application form (download here);
2. Birth certificate (certified and translated copy1);
3. Marriage certificate (if the applicant’s last name changed subsequent
to marriage) (certified and translated copy);
4. Baccalaureate Diploma for undergraduate studies or equivalent
(original and certified and translated copy);
5. Graduation certificate for graduate applicants or PhD (original and
certified and translated copy);
6. Academic records (original and certified and translated copy);
7. Medical certificate, issued by an accredited medical authority
confirming that the applicant does not suffer from any chronic disease;
8. Certified copy of the passport;
9. Four passport-size photos;
10. The score of the Romanian language test 2. (Knowledge of Romanian
language is required in all faculties of the University. The courses and
labs are in Romanian language).
1. The Romanian Embassy in the country of the applicant should certify originals and translations
of all papers.
2. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine organizes courses in English also. In this case, the
applicant will pas an English language test.
3. On the arrival in Romania, the applicant should submit the original documents.

TUITION FEES
1. Non-UE citizens ( according to the OUG 133/2000):
- $ 320 USD /month, during the academic year (10
months) - Bachelor level
- $ 340 USD/month for Master and Ph.D level.
2. UE citizens (according to the Law 316/2006): the annual tuition fee is the
same as for Romanian citizens.

The above-mentioned tuition fees do not include accommodation and
meals. The fee may be subject to change. Advice on fees can be received
from the Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation in Romania.

Students must also pay for their Romanian-language entrance-test ($320)
in case he has had a Romanian-language course at his/her home.
The applicant must submit the Application form and the Documents for
application to the Romanian Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation –
General Direction for European Integration and International Cooperation.

UE
citizens
can
apply
directly
to
the
University
(www.uaiasi.ro/admission)
The candidate who obtained the Letter of Acceptance must pay the
tuition fees to the account IBAN RO55RNCB0175011092700005, opened at:
BANCA COMERCIALĂ ROMÂNĂ.
The applicant will submit at the Romanian Embassy in the residence
country the Letter of Acceptance and the payment proof to have granted his
study visa.
The deadline for enrolment is September 14th of the current year in the
University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Iasi.
