GRAD FEES: You must pay $25 Grad Fees AND $71.49 Cap & Gown Fee or you will NOT walk on graduation day
(even if you already have a cap & gown from somebody else)
CODE OF CONDUCT: You and your parents sign and return to Mrs. Bradley in E3 by NEXT Friday, May 8th.
NO CODE, NO WALK 
PHOTOCARDS: Completed in the auditorium lobby a few minutes ago... Must be done before you leave the
auditorium!
HOUSEKEEPING: If you have any financial obligation, including textbooks and library books, there will be NO
diploma in your envelope. Please take care of all obligations before Friday, May 15th.
If you would like your FINAL TRANSCRIPT sent to a college or university please stop by the Guidance Office. There is
a binder that has a page for each of you on the table. Find your page and fill it out. After all the final grades have
been posted we will send out all the requested transcripts.

Arrive at Tropicana Field on Tuesday, June 2nd, by 1:30 p.m. – enter through LOWER GATE 6 (left of Gate 6).
Park in Lots 1, 2, 6 and 7 ($10 per car, so carpool!)
PARENTS: Gates open at 1:45 pm, enter through GATES 3 & 5.
Handicapped guests can be dropped off at the car circle in front of Gate 4 (must provide own wheelchair). Only 1
extra guest allowed in the handicapped section of Tropicana.
Strollers are NOT allowed inside Tropicana. Please leave them in the car.
NO POSTERS, NOISE MAKERS, BALLOONS, FLOWERS are allowed inside Tropicana Field.
DVD: Will be sold at the entrance for parents to pre-order, $20 cash ONLY.
BAG POLICY/WANDING: They will do bag checks and wanding at all entry points
CONCESSIONS: 3rd Base Food Court (no coolers, cans, bottles)
TICKET PRICE: None, Free Admission
SEATING AREA: All guests: 100 Level Main, Sections 108-135
WHAT TO BRING:

Cap & Gown with tassel, that’s it!
Cords from a PPHS Honor Society may be used (requires certain GPA to be a member)
WHAT NOT TO BRING:
Cell phones, camera, sunglasses, purse, wallet, keys…(will be taken and stored by faculty until your exit)
NO CLUB PINS ON GOWNS (except for magnet programs and AVID, these are ok)
WHAT TO WEAR:
BOYS: black pants, black shoes (no tennis shoes or boots), white collared shirt & tie (any color/pattern)
GIRLS: WHITE shoes (sandals need to have a back strap), dress or blouse/skirt (any color)
LINING UP

Arrive at LOWER GATE 6 (left of gate 6), go down the ramp, turn left, faculty will be there to direct you to line up.
You will be given a number. Also, you will receive your name card and medallion. DON’T LOOSE THEM!
You need to remember your number to form the lines. It will be posted on school walls (maybe…) and at Tropicana
Field.
Remain standing until told to move. Move towards the dugout area. It is very important that you stay in line, keep
close to the person ahead of you.
When you enter the field, follow the person in front of you very closely, towards the seats. Turn left at the bell.
Boys will sit on left, girls on right. Faculty and NHS will seat you. Remain standing until told to sit.

STARTING THE CEREMONY

Introductions, pledge, National Anthem, Alma Mater, speeches…
DIPLOMA TIME

Walking: faculty and NHS will direct you to walk. You will exit out of the left side of your row and go around the back
of the stage.
You will have your pictures taken there. STAY IN ORDER! Line will temporarily split in two, then reunite.
Move towards back of stage. Faculty/NHS will tell you when to walk up the stairs.
When it’s your turn to walk, give your name card to the A.P. Speak your name clearly into his/her ear.
The dollar coin should be on your RIGHT hand. Walk across the stage to Mr. Johnston. As you shake his hand, release
the coin to him.
Mr. Johnston hands you diploma. SMILE (picture). WALK towards authorities, shake hands with all of them, go down
ramp at the far end (no showing off, please).
Faculty & NHS will direct you back to your seat (through the right side of rows).
After last senior crosses stage, applause from the audience
Farewell Speech
The official “moving” of the tassels, directed by Mr. Johnston.
You will empty the field, the same way you came in.
Follow faculty and NHS’s directions – keep your lines together!! It’s not over yet 
Now you can wave to your family 
Return to the setup area and PICK UP YOUR DIPLOMA!
If you borrowed any material, you must return it before you can get your diploma.
Collect any belongings you left there and meet your family in front of Tropicana Field GATE 6. You can take pictures
there.
REMEMBER…
If you don’t turn in your CODE OF CONDUCT to Mrs. Bradley in E3… by FRIDAY MAY 8TH…
