understanding why this is a much loved traditional drink of Scotland as well as being enjoyed by the rest of the world. With the first
written record of Whisky in 1494 there is much to discover.

Edinburgh
Edinburgh Castle, Hollyrood Palace, Royal Mile
Here your Whisky journey will begin plus you will visit the famous Castle and Crown jewels, Hollyrood
Palace, Scottish Parliament, and Her Majesty the Queen’s Royal Yacht Britannia. During this you will
also visit the Scotch Whisky Experience Museum and shop beside the castle and sample some of the
greatest whiskies from the famous ‘Whisky Bar’.
Glenfiddich Distillery
You will take a Connoisseur tour round the great distillery set in the heart of the Highlands, where
Glenfiddich is a place of breathtaking beauty. The vibrant colours of an artist’s palate fill the surrounding hills
and forests, while haunting castle ruins and a bubbling natural spring add to the romance.
Glenlivet Distillery
Along with the other special attractions of the distillery visit, which includes the magnificent scenery that
surrounds it, this fascinating hands-on display of The Glenlivet Distillery and its history is not to be
missed. Our guided tour takes in the distillery and the vast bonded warehouse. You can choose a dram of
The Glenlivet 12, 18 years old, or French Oak Reserve.
Famous Grouse Distillery
Visit the Glenturret Distillery where the world wide known Famous Grouse Whisky is distilled. There are a
number of tours to choose from including the ‘Whisky School’ where you will gain hands on experience
of Whisky blending and of course tasting, followed by a three course dinner complimented with whisky.
Stirling
Castle, Robert the Bruce, William Wallace Monument.
Stirling Castle is the grandest of Scotland's castles and one of the most popular visitor attractions in the
country. 250 feet above the plain on an extinct volcano, Stirling became the strategic military key to the
kingdom during the 13th and 14th century Wars of Independence and was the favourite royal residence of
many of the Stuart Monarchs. Many important events from Scotland's past took place at Stirling Castle,
including the violent murder of the eighth Earl of Douglas by James II in 1452. Stirling Castle played an
important role in the life of Mary Queen of Scots. She spent her childhood in the castle and Mary's
coronation took place in the Chapel Royal in 1543.
Beautiful views of the Highlands
Every day you will see views of beautiful Scottish countryside including the famous Highlands where
William Wallace roamed the lands with his Army and the stunning Cairngorm Mountains. Plus if you
are lucky, you might see birds of prey and the proud and mighty stag.
