INAUGURAL FRIENDS CONCERT – SATURDAY 10TH NOVEMBER – ST.
CROSS CHURCH
The Friends of St Cross Hospital are holding their first annual Concert on Saturday
10th November.
This provides a unique opportunity for the 500+ Members of our Friends network to
share their particular artistic talent with their peers, in what is regularly regarded as
one of the most beautifully acoustic venues in the South of England.
We are currently finalising our Concert programme and this is an appeal for any one
of our Members to identify a potential performer from within their family, friends or
neighbours.
Our objective for this first Friends Concert is to put on a programme of varied
content under the caption, “For the Friends By the Friends”.
There is an enormous amount of artistic talent within the St Cross community and
further beyond via family networks, so, if you have a desire to be involved or know of
any relative or friend with a hidden artistic talent, young or older, please let me know
as soon as possible. Singers, poetry readers, actors or instrumentalists are encouraged
to respond.
We cannot promise stardom but, by working together, both as performers and/or
audience, we will surely enjoy a memorable evening.
