Greek Mythology Unit
Greek Myth Multimedia Presentation
Directions: In groups of 3 or 4, create a PowerPoint presentation or Prezi about the Greek myth or story you have been assigned.
Choose your groups wisely. Students will be taking notes on the information you present, so make sure you cover the following in your
presentation:
 Name of myth
 Characters involved
 Summary of myth
 Notes students can take regarding what the myth is about
 Theme or moral of the myth
 Connection to our modern world
All Presentations:
 MUST have at least 12 slides in your presentation
 MUST have at least 5 pictures in your presentation
 MUST be emailed to me - Ldagata@cousd.net - by 11:59 PM on Sunday, February 1st or they will be considered LATE!
Late projects will receive ½ credit.
 Presentations are currently scheduled for Monday & Tuesday, February 2 nd and 3rd - ALL GROUP MEMBERS MUST
PRESENT & SPEAK! If a member is absent, that individual will lose 25% of the final grade presentation grade.
 This assignment is worth 50 points.
After all presentations are complete, you will have a test on the 13 myths presented by myself or your peers in class and other notes on
mythology from class. This test is tentatively set for Friday, February 6th.

Extra Credit - Greek Mythology Tissue Box Assignment
You have the option of creating a brief report on the Greek god or goddess of your choice on a tissue box. You will need the
following:
 one tissue box (either square or rectangle will work)
 colored pictures of your god or goddess (hand drawn or computer printed)
 information on your god or goddess
The following information is what will be required on your tissue box:
Panel #1 - photo of god or goddess and description of what they represent
Panel #2 - brief summary about your god or goddess and why they are important in the history of mythology
Panel #3 - a paragraph about what you learned about this god or goddess (5-7 sentences) and why you chose this particular god
or goddess
Panel #4 - more pictures that represent your god or goddess
Bottom – Please put your name and period
This optional assignment is due Tuesday, February 10th and will be worth a possible 15 points of extra credit. Good luck!
