Navenby’s 18th Annual Bowls Festival 2010

Wednesday 25th.August 2010 was Singles day, with 28 competitors taking part. The
final was between Tom Bell of Sleaford Town and Jim Hall of Navenby. The winner
beating Tom Bell in a well fort out final.

Thursday 26th Two Wood Pairs.
We had a full house of 64 bowlers. The Final was between C. Davison & C. Shaw of
Thorpe on the Hill beating J. Henning & T. Sheppard of Leasingham.

Friday 27th Two Wood triples.
With 60 bowlers taking part and some keen competition between Ted & Iris Coulson
with R. Markham. Taking on D. Cuthbert, R. Tait, & A.Tait. The eventual winners
were Ted & Iris Coulson. & R. Markham.

Saturday 29th 3 Wood Pairs.

60 Bowlers took part in rain showers and very strong winds with the winners being
Ted & Iris Coulson with K. Lewis beating M. & K. Horriben with A. Garton from
Beeston Notts.
