CERTIFICATION TEACHING OPTIONS IN EDUCATION
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Secondary education students must select an approved 30
credit hour teaching major and an approved 20 credit hour teaching minor, or an approved 45
credit hour single-subject teaching major. Both a major and minor are strongly recommended for
employability as opposed to a single subject major.
Elementary Education and Early Childhood have independent requirements.
