“PENTAGON” to Perform Entertaining Benefit Concert
“Pentagon”, a local band will perform a concert in the Mechanicsburg Middle School
Auditorium on Saturday, January 23, 2010. Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. – doors open at
7:00 p.m. The Middle School is located at 1750 South Market Street in Mechanicsburg.

$12.00 for adults and $5.00 for students.
The rock band is well-known in the area for its musical shows that feature tunes from the
50’s through the 90’s. One of shows that is typically presented features “Rico and the
Ravens”. This band entertains families and people of all ages. Other routines include
music by Jimi Hendrix, Sonny and Cher, the Chipmunks, and Elton John, which are
enhanced with costumes and props.
Pentagon has played at a variety of venues such as political galas, private parties, and
public festivals including regular appearances at the Hershey Park Amphitheatre, as well
as performances in Las Vegas, California, Atlantic City and Puerto Rico. Pentagon has
entertained for over 35 years.
Proceeds from this event will benefit many music students by providing scholarships to
music camps to enhance their musical skills. In addition proceeds will assist in
purchasing various instruments and equipment at are used by the Symphonic, Concert,
Jazz and Marching Bands. All groups supported by the Mechanicsburg Band Boosters.
