Maintain the $4 billion CAP canal and related facilities and equipment.

Fully utilize the CAP system.

Protect the region’s renewable water supply for now and future generations.

Secure reliability features for the CAP system in the Tucson region.

Prepare for possible impacts from drought and climate change on the Colorado River.

Pursue additional water supplies for the CAP system and guarantee Southern Arizona receives its fair share.

Maintain CAWCD’s role as a collaborative leader on water issues in Arizona.
