Think back to your school days and write down your thoughts on the following questions using not
more than 300 words:
Task one
 Think about your experience of learning English or other languages. How did you learn? What
effect did your English teachers and the way they taught have on you? Have your experiences
as a language learner affected your ideas about teaching? If so in what way?

Look at the text bellow and try to decide what the invented words in italics mean. What clues are
there to help you work out the meaning?
Since it was hot John took off his thick blaggar as soon as he came into the house. He
switched on the kettle to make himself a bref of hot flersa. He put on his homeys and took
