SW COURSES 421, 422, 721
1) Total # of rating categories completed (do not count N/A’s). Multiply this number
by 4. (Example 17 x 4 = 68) This number is “A” Total possible raw score on
evaluation
2) “A” x 1.25= “B” Maximum raw score (evaluation + field assignments +
integrated seminar) Example 68 x 1.25 = 85 (B)
This multiplier adds the total value possible for field assignments and 100%
attendance and participation in the integrated seminar which constitute 25% of
grade.
3) Add all scores in evaluation document by multiplying the total number in each column
by the rating value for that category. (Refer to Appendix I) Add together the aggregate
number of each rating category. The sum of these numbers = “C” (total earned
evaluation points)

3.3 x 5 = 16.5
4 x 10 = 40
Total = 61.10 = “C”
4) Multiply “C” x field assignment multiplier = “D”
Example: 61.10 X 1.15 = 70.265 (D)
