Industrial revolution is a transformation from an agricultural to an industrial nation. It started during the 18 th to the 19 th century where major changes in agriculture.

During industrial revolutions working conditions were bad. There were lots of hazards such as floods, bad air (pollution), stones falling (mining). In working areas such as factories. Workers had to work for long hours for workers even children too. They were given very little wages although they worked hard and long. Children were often employed to move between dangerous machines because they were small enough to fit tightly packed machinery or sometimes their shirt or hair would get caught by the machineries which led them in a great deal of danger. Some children or workers couldn’t afford to get shoes. They got injured easily. Children who worked for long hours their health condition would not be good and their growing system too, if they stood and worked too long probably their legs would not be growing normally as the ones who don’t work.

Lots of times people would be trying to fix a part of the machine, they'd stick their hand into some compartment and fix it, then the machine would start running immediately and chopped of their finger or hand or arm. Even though they were injured their bosses wouldn’t let them rest for even a day, they would ask or expect them to continue working the next day or they’ll would be fired.

If workers were late, punishment will be held such as they would either be whipped or fined. During working time there would also be breaks, little breaks, so workers wouldn’t have enough time to rest and would get sick easily. Some even died. In factories machinery was not always fenced off and workers would be exposed to the moving parts of the machinery. Some broke they arms legs or get hurt because of that. Working areas during industrial revolution were dirty, dusty, spaceless, crowded and hot. Many workers died of lack of air to breathe or too cramp until they couldn’t move. Working in factories was very discipline, if any of the rules were broken he or she would be fine or fired. For example if someone broke or damage one of the machinery he or she will either be fined or fired.

During industrial revolution people had no choice but to move to the city because there were more opportunity of jobs such as mining. There were less jobs to choose since in the village mostly everything were changing such as agricultural. People might not have enough to feed their family if they don’t migrate. As industrial revolution came more of machines were invented, so lots people lost their jobs as they use to do the work which the machines do now. During industrial revolution child labour also came because they were manipulated, they were easy to go anywhere and work anywhere and they were not even paid because the bosses wanted to save money for themselves. Working owners wanted more workers to work to make more money, so they hired children since they were able to do stronger and more work than the elderlies.

Working conditions today are much safer than before. Industrial revolution, people are now aware of their rights and now the children are also aware of the child labour rights. Working areas are much cleaner.

Better environment. Technology improved for example less hazards. Today, wages has also increased. It was paid fairly to workers. Working hours are also lesser now so workers will have more time to spend.

They would probably will have more breaks for about 1 to 2 hours. Now days there are many jobs to find then before for example a chef, an engineer, a businessmen, a teacher and many more various kinds of jobs. Today bosses or the workers who work there are friendly and understandable. If any workers were sick or injured, their bosses would probably give them a day off but if it is serious it would probably be a week off or month, it depends. There were also a good balance between their life and work such as having vacations or holidays while during industrial revolution workers had neither holiday or vacation they had to work every single day.
