DIANA WORTHAM THEATRE ANNOUNCES BRING YOUR OWN SCROOGE, A
SPECIAL OFFER TO SEE DICKENS’ A CHRISTMAS CAROL – THANKSGIVING
WEEKEND, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NOVEMBER 28 & 29
Diana Wortham Theatre is pleased to announce Bring Your Own Scrooge, a special ticket offer
for family and friends to see Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, performed by Atlantic Presenters
Association’s 2014 Touring Performer of the Year, Jeremy Webb, on Thanksgiving weekend:
Friday November 28 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday November 29 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at
Diana Wortham Theatre in downtown Asheville.
This internationally touring production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol features Jeremy
Webb, creator and remarkable character of Shakespeare On Trial – the show that brought down
the house during two past Mainstage Seasons at the Diana Wortham Theatre. Webb has reenvisioned A Christmas Carol in a brilliantly entertaining, 30-character, family-friendly
extravaganza. With a run time of 90 minutes, families and friends can catch this production and
still have plenty of time to indulge in downtown Asheville’s festive street scene on Thanksgiving
weekend.

director, and writer, especially with the historical Neptune Theatre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In
2009, he founded Off The Leash Creative, a theatre company collective that produces theatre and
film. His Off The Lease production of A Christmas Carol has toured Nova Scotia and United
States venues and has been entertaining audiences for over a decade, to critical and box office
acclaim.
