ZERO on days that they are absent. Zeros for participation points may be made up during lunch or through special arrangements with the instructor.

Classroom Culture

To insure a learning environment of mutual respect, the following personal behaviors are to be demonstrated daily

Students are to be prepared for class with appropriate supplies. This includes writing materials and appropriate clothing as outlined by instructor.

Students should model behavior appropriate for a business environment. Reckless behavior, throwing of projectile objects and boisterous talking create safety issues as well as being inappropriate for the enterprises conducted by the department.

Personal integrity is expected in all situations. Cheating and theft are behaviors that merit removal from the course.

Equipment is to be operated according to safety instructions.

The classroom and laboratory represent our "business home" and should be cared for appropriately. Student clean-up assignments are to be carried out with enthusiasm.

Respect for the learning environment is expected. This translates to attention being given during formal instruction. Talking during instruction and distractions by technology devices violates our classroom culture and goals.

I have read and agree to abide by the above policies. Signed ________________________________
