I have read the attached rules and regulations and agree to comply with these regulations as
set forth by the Edgecombe Mutual Livestock Show. The Sponsors and Show Committee
Members are not responsible for damages incurred in connection with the show. All animals
exhibited must meet North Carolina health requirements.

Entry Fee: $15.00 per child/per species
Deadline for Entry: August 29, 2008
Rules and Regulations
1. Exhibitors must be under 19 years of age as of January 1, 2008.
2. All entry forms and fees must be filed with the show management no later than
August 29, 2008. Entry forms must be completely filled out.
3. Decisions of the judge are final.
4. All lambs must meet North Carolina Health requirements.
5. Lambs can be withers or ewes. (No Rams)
6. Each exhibitor is limited to three (3) entries.
7. Lambs must have all temporary (milk) teeth in place at the time of the show.
8. Lambs will be weighed in from 7:30am to 9:00am on Saturday, September 6, 2008.
9. Lambs must be dry at weighing.
10. Entries will be divided into classes at the discretion of the show committee.
11. Lambs are released after the completion of the entire show.
12. Exhibitors found cheating, misrepresenting or participation in fraud or deception or
acting in an un-sportsmanship like manner, shall be disqualified and possibly barred from
future competitions.
13. The superintendent reserves the right to exclude from competition any entry, which is late
entering the show ring.
14. Any disputes or questions are to be directed to the show superintendent.
15. Exhibitors are responsible for the care of their animals while at the show
16. Any questions not covered by these rules will be ruled upon by the show committee.
17. Animals used in Showmanship Competition must be entered in the Edgecombe Mutual
Livestock Show in the name of the Showmanship Exhibitor.

5. Each exhibitor is limited to two (2) entries.
6. Heifers are released after the completion of the entire show.
7. Exhibitors found cheating, misrepresenting or participation in fraud or deception or
acting in an un-sportsmanship like manner, shall be disqualified and possibly barred from
future competitions.
8. The superintendent reserves the right to exclude from competition any entry, which is late
entering the show ring.
9. Any disputes or questions are to be directed to the show superintendent.
10. Exhibitors are responsible for the care of their animals while at the show.

12. Heifers are eligible to show must be born after November 1, 2006.
13. Heifers must be halter broken. Unruly animals, which endanger the safety of others, will
be asked to leave the ring.
14. If there are sufficient entries, breeds will be divided into British, Exotic and Commercial
Divisions.
15. Classes within each division will be set based on the ages of the entries.
16. Animals used in Showmanship Competition must be entered in the Edgecombe Mutual
Livestock Show in the name of the Showmanship Exhibitor.
