MEMBERSHIP FORM
a) Worldlawyers.NET members (also known as associates) shall consist only of law firms or individual lawyers (for
convenience referred to as the law firm/s) specialising in maritime law amongst other laws.
b) The associates in the network are selected
i. either on recommendation from any of the existing member of the network or
ii. by the executive council or
iii. law firms fulfilling membership criteria or
iv. on invitation from Worldlawyers.NET or
v. otherwise.
c) To become an associate in the network no fees are required to be paid but the associate should be practicing/
specialising amongst others laws in maritime law and the ability and willingness to share the network's aims,
objectives and goals and work together hand-in-hand for betterment, development and expansion of the network.
d) The perspective members name and details are circulated amongst existing members for comments and
acceptance as new associate member.
e) If more than ten percent of the existing members reject and/or objects to the new member, the perspective
member will not be accepted as new associate member.
f) Acceptance of new member is communicated to the perspective member within 15 days.
g) A new member admitted will be a provisional member for 15 days on acceptance of membership and will stand
confirmed automatically thereafter, unless notified.
h) The basic criteria for becoming a member of the network Worldlawyers.NET is that the law firm should be
specializing/ practicing law amongst others in maritime matters.
i) The member should conform to Worldlawyers.NET aims, goals and objects.
j) Perspective member desiring to join Worldlawyers.NET should forward this form duly filled in, by email to
mail@worldlawyers.net AND ALSO by airmail or post or courier the hardcopy of this form to the address indicated
herein below.
