Brian McMillen
Memorial Scholarship
Brian McMillen, of Adrian, Michigan, was a brother of Alpha Gamma Rho who exemplified the
qualities and ideals sought by not only the fraternity, but by all men. While at Michigan State, Brian was a
dual major in Chemistry and Environmental Soil Science with a minor in Spanish. As a member of Alpha
Gamma Rho, Brian was elected by his peers to the position of Recruitment Chair and Chapter Historian.
This scholarship seeks to reward the qualities of leadership, scholarship, responsibility, philanthropy, and
commitment to agriculture and the environment, as set forth by brother Brian McMillen.
The Tau Chapter of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity is awarding two (2) $500 scholarships to
two deserving individuals who exemplify the qualities set forth by Brian McMillen. Applicants must be
enrolling to Michigan State University as a freshman or transfer student in the Fall of 2015. To apply for
this scholarship you must also be enrolling in the College of Ag. and Natural Resources and/or have an
interest in agriculture. Applications are open to BOTH male and female students.
To apply: Complete this application, making sure to enclose all necessary attachments**, and return to the
below address postmarked no later than March 20th, 2015. A personal interview will also need to be
arranged and completed during one of the first two weekends of April. If circumstances require additional
times, they can be arranged.

*To receive a scholarship, you must enroll at Michigan State University and complete your first semester
with a minimum GPA of 2.75, it is not required that you become a member of Alpha Gamma Rho. The
scholarship money will be given out after the fall semester grades are reported to make sure this
requirement has been met.
