SitOnIt believes strongly in being a responsible corporate citizen when dealing with the
various business practices that effect our planet’s well being. The following activities
take place on a daily basis to ensure that SitOnIt’s overall operation has no negative
impact on the environment.

SOI utilizes renewable resource woods which are generated by sustained yield
managed forests which ultimately protect the ecosystem.

SOI purchases various plastic and urethane components that have acceptable
levels of recycled material. This ultimately reduces the amount of virgin material
necessary to generate the component as well as the associated energy cost.

SOI utilizes non-toxic paints that are virtually free of
all Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions as
well as Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS). SOI
uses water base adhesives, which are
environmentally
friendly
and
eliminate
potential harmful emissions during normal use
of the product.
SOI focuses on reducing landfill debris through
the recycle and utilization of fabric remnants,
leather off fall, foam scraps and discarded
cardboard packaging. SOI utilizes many recycled
materials in the daily administrative, promotional and
financial activities that occur in the operation of the business.


SOI seeks to maximize the use of Petroleum Fuels through the use of pooled
shipments. Blanket wrap shipments are recommended on every order that
meets a minimum quantity, which ultimately reduces the necessary number of
tractors utilized and, at the same time, eliminates associated cardboard waste
disposal.
