CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. All lots are “on the Market” from 1 bid – when the Auctioneers hammer
falls, the Vendor may refuse or accept the final bid. No further bids are
allowed
st
2. The highest bidder to be the buyer, and if any dispute shall arise between
two or more bidders, the lot in dispute to be put up again and resold, or
the Auctioneers may declare the purchaser.
3. All Rams and Ewes sold in the Mart must be sold through the
Auctioneers and no Ram or Ewe can be sold privately before passing
through the auction ring. This rule will be rigidly enforced.
4. All lots will be sold in Euro. Purchasers will be charged a fee of 5% of the
sale price.
5. Purchasers shall, if and when required, give their names and address to
the auctioneers and shall if required, pay to the auctioneers the purchase
money for each lot at the fall of the hammer, or so soon thereafter as the
auctioneers may require.
6. Purchasers paying by cheque must be prepared, if required, to produce a
banker’s reference.
7. All lots bought must be paid for in full on the day.
8. No lots shall be removed from the sale premises until a written delivery
order has been given by or on behalf of the auctioneers.
9. All lots to be cleared away at the buyer’s expense at the close of the sale,
to be at the risk of the purchasers from the time the lot is sold, and to be
taken with all faults and errors of description.
10. The seller and the Auctioneer have described the lots to the best of their
ability and knowledge and accept no responsibility whatsoever as to
how a ram or ewe performs once they are taken from the sale yard.
