Spelling Words Center –Sounds of /f/
1. Spelling Word Sort – sort words according to the letters that make the /f/
sound (due Monday)
2. Spelling Word ABC Order
3. Spelling Word Search (extra credit – may do ONLY when all other work is
completed!)
 Vocabulary Center – Lesson 8: Eponyms
1. Intro to Vocabulary Words pg. 27 (due Monday)
2. Crossword Puzzle – Vocabulary Words: Eponyms
3. Vocabulary Log: Eponyms. Look up the definition, part of speech, and write
a QUALITY sentence with 4 of the vocabulary words.
4. Lesson 8: Eponyms pg. 29
Writing:
1. If I Were….Choose one of the 12 fun possibilities from the box and write AT
LEAST a five-sentence paragraph describing what you would do. Make
sure you include a topic sentence, at least three detail sentences, and a
closing sentence! Use Activity Sheet for your final draft. Return your
choice to the box/basket.

Take it to your Seat Work
1. Word Ladder: Underwater
2. Where Can I Find It? Choose a task card. Make sure to write the number
of the task card on Answer Form. Answer the Table of Contents and Index
questions. Your answers MUST BE in complete sentences! Return task card
to basket.
3. Dictionary Entries. Find the Dictionary Entry page from Education
World/Scholastic with “cottontail-coupon.” Answer ALL 7 questions from
your Dictionary Entries worksheet. These DO NOT have to be in complete
sentences!
