Competition Grant Requirements:
 Minimum of 4 Regions Must Participate in the event (including host)
 Must be approved and signed by the Regional Coordinator
 Facility must be confirmed for the event date
 The event must meet the criteria of providing quality sport competition for athletes
 The attached basic budget must be completed
 The proposal must be submitted at least 1 month prior to the competition date. This grant
may only be received by the HOST Region

Approved applications will have a cheque sent to the Regional Coordinator, and be used for the
competition as stated in this application.
*Amounts for each event will be determined individually, and based on several factors including: the
number of regions and athletes served; the overall scope of the event; the number of events requesting
support across the Province; items in the budget and so on. Amounts will range from $100 - $600.

The following grid will be used as a guide in the distribution of funds with respect to the Regional
Competition Grant process. In order to be fair and accurate in how these funds are shared, we will
require a report following the event with the regions and numbers who actually attended. This may
increase or decrease the allotment of funds according to the original estimation.
