We are re-naming our Breakfast and After School Club ‘Care Club’ from now on. Morning Care Club opens at
7.45am every school day and the children will be offered cereals and/or toast. Afternoon Care Club
continues to be popular with the children who are enjoying their new ‘Tea Time Menu’ (see below), and is
now open until 5.30pm every school day. To book please phone the school on 01827 383292 or email
office@howard.staffs.sch.uk.

Monday: Tuna or Cheese Wrap; Tuesday: Ham or Jam sandwiches; Wednesday: Cheese or Tuna Sub;
Thursday: Ham or Jam sandwiches; Friday: Ham or Cheese Sub. Drinks, fresh salad, crackers & cheese, cake
or biscuit available daily.
HEALTH & SAFETY ISSUES
Please make sure your children continue to use the door in Classroom 3 to go in and out of school until the
roofing works are finished and please continue to take extra care around school while the work is on-going.
EASTER SERVICE
A reminder that our Easter Service will take place at St Peter’s Church, Elford on Thursday 2 nd April at
9.30am. If you do not wish your child to take part in this service provision will be made at school.

9.30pm. Entry includes a glass of fizz on arrival. There will be a skincare demonstration, a nail technician,

promises to be a fun night for all the ladies!
SING UP!
Don’t forget to wear your red and blue clothing on Wednesday 18 th March for National Sing Up! Day and
bring a £1 donation for the British Heart Foundation. The children are looking forward to singing the
National Sing Up! song which Mrs Parkes has been teaching them, “I’m Still Singing” which they will perform
in an assembly on the afternoon of 18th March.
